Katherine Mueller
Graduate Student
Katherine received her MS degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio, where she focused on exploring the relationship between fungi and the gut microbiota. Currently, she is a PhD student in the University Program in Genetics and Genomics at Duke. Katherine is continuing her studies on gut microbes, and recently joined the lab to study how biofilm production by Akkermansia muciniphila affects colonization of the GI tract.
